Job Overview
Play a key leadership role integral to the success of Linxon UK Projects. The position will be site-based and sites may be located in and around the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site performance, construction, and commissioning aspects of designated Substation Projects.
- Manage subcontractor performance, construction schedule, and variation management.
- Ensure implementation of the site quality plan and completion of all ITP’s.
- Conduct daily responsibilities, weekly and monthly lookaheads.
- Liaise with Project Manager & Other Site Managers.
- Engage and manage stakeholders.
- Coordinate subcontractors and engineering teams.
- Serve as PSCS.
- Set and implement the highest SHEQ standards on site.
- Manage a team of supervisors, site engineers & site functional staff.
- Control and manage on‑site construction, health, safety and environment activities.
- Monitor site progress and standards of the installation team.
- Ensure Linxon site operational procedures are followed.
- Chair or attend relevant coordination meetings, offering construction input and advice on project delivery.
- Liaise with clients on progress and site requirements.
- Prepare site documentation such as ITP’s, construction workpacks, site start‑up packs, drawing packs, etc.
Qualifications
- Extensive years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a HV setting.
- Construction Management qualification, or extensive trade experience TP137 or SR163.
- Site Manager nomination (required for NG Projects only).
