Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for making a positive difference in young people’s lives? Our client, a reputable care provider, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to oversee a 4-bed EBD children’s home in Shirley.
What you’ll be doing:* Leading the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.* Providing strong leadership and support to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence.* Delivering high-quality, child-centred care tailored to individual needs.* Maintaining and enhancing the home’s Ofsted rating through best practice.* Overseeing safeguarding, risk management, and care planning processes.* Collaborating with external agencies, families, and professionals to secure positive outcomes for young people.* Ensuring all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards are met.
What you’ll bring:* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).* Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children’s residential care.* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes.* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.* A genuine commitment to providing therapeutic, high-quality care for young people.
