Strategic Safeguarding Lead for a Historic Cathedral

CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL is seeking an experienced Head of Safeguarding (CSO) to lead the safeguarding efforts within the Cathedral. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and accountable environment for children, vulnerable adults, and staff.

The successful candidate will develop safeguarding culture and policies, manage casework, and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders. A commitment to safeguarding values and strong professional integrity is essential.

Experience in safeguarding legislation and a relevant professional qualification are required.
