A global distribution business supplying the aerospace industry is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality assurance activities across the supply chain. This is a key role ensuring full compliance with aviation regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems while driving continuous improvement with suppliers worldwide.

As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of the supply chain by ensuring suppliers meet all quality, regulatory, and performance expectations required within the aerospace sector.

Duties:

Managing supplier quality performance to AS9100 / AS9120 standardsSupporting supplier approval, qualification, ongoing monitoring, and performance improvementConducting supplier audits, process evaluations, and risk assessmentsLeading investigations into supplier non-conformances and driving effective CAPAWorking closely with internal teams to resolve supplier-related quality issuesActing as the main quality point of contact for assigned suppliersDriving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier capability, quality, and cost efficiencyMaintaining accurate quality documentation to support internal, customer, and regulatory auditsAbout You

You will be a proactive, solutions-focused quality professional with strong experience in supplier quality within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment. xwzovoh

Experience & skills:

Proven background in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Aerospace QualityStrong knowledge of AS9100 / AS9120 (essential)Experience conducting supplier audits and managing corrective actionsWorking knowledge of aerospace regulations and quality requirementsAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering dataExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsConfident working independently while supporting cross-functional teamsStrong IT skills with good numeracy and literacy skillsCandidates who are looking for sponsorship now or in the future will no be elegable for this role.
