About the Role
We’re hiring our Founding Head of Sales to build and lead the go-to-market engine for our insurance business across the UK and EU. This is a rare ground‑floor opportunity to shape sales strategy, build the playbook from scratch, and lead a team of BDRs from day one. You’ll own the full sales process, from lead generation and prospecting through to close.
This is an in‑person role based in our London office, six days a week. We’re building something ambitious and we want the team in the room together.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute the GTM strategy for the UK and EU, including ICP definition, segmentation, messaging, and channel mix.
- Own the full sales process end‑to‑end, from lead generation and outbound prospecting through qualification, pitching, negotiation, and close.
- Lead and develop a team of BDRs, setting targets, coaching on outreach and qualification, and building the cadence and culture of the sales floor.
- Personally carry a quota in the early months and use those learnings to build a repeatable playbook.
- Hire and grow the wider sales team as we scale.
- Own the full sales stack and reporting: CRM hygiene, pipeline forecasting, conversion metrics, and win/loss analysis.
- Partner closely with founders, marketing, and product to align GTM with the roadmap and feed customer insight back into the business.
- Build relationships with brokers, partners, and enterprise accounts across target markets.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota.
- People management experience: you’ve built, hired, or led a sales team (BDRs or AEs) before.
- Hands‑on fluency with the modern sales stack, including HubSpot (or comparable CRM), Apollo, and other lead‑generation and sales‑engagement tools.
- Experience building GTM motions from scratch or in an early‑stage environment.
- Strong commercial instincts and comfort operating with ambiguity — you can set your own direction.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell to sophisticated buyers.
- Comfortable with an in‑office, six‑day working week.

- Insurance industry experience (insurtech, brokering, underwriting, or selling into insurers) is a significant plus and will weigh heavily in our decision.
- Existing network of brokers, partners, or insurance buyers in the UK or EU.
- Experience selling into regulated industries.
