You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.OverviewPart of our Global Employer Services division, Strategic Reward Advisory takes pride in working with entrepreneurial, fast growing businesses to help them engage and incentivise their workforce. The projects are wide-ranging, collaborative and often novel – with bespoke solutions required to solve complex problems.You’ll form a critical part of a unified team, gaining exposure to colleagues and clients at all levels right from day one. This is not a traditional Reward consulting role – it’s ambition, efficacy and approach that matter most. You’ll be expected to navigate ambiguous and charged challenges independently, while also delivering best-in-class solutions that incorporate elements from beyond your own domain.We welcome applications from those with broader HR and business strategy experience, with a keen curiosity to explore Reward.Responsibilities:Providing Reward advisory services to a wide range of clientsHelping clients develop compensation strategies for their Executive Team and wider employee population(s) from first principlesTranslating strategies into practical Reward frameworks incorporating market benchmarking, financial modelling and corporate governance complianceDesigning short-term and long-term incentive plans that are aligned with clients’ strategic business objectives and cultureDealing with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clientsDeveloping and owning the go-to-market approach and business performance of a key market segment (e.g., FinTech)Providing assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group, as appropriatePro-actively managing their own workload, communicating with directors/partners on a regular basisWe’re looking for someone with:Demonstrable professional experience in a remuneration-related role – within reward consulting or inhouse is preferred but not essentialThe ability to work independently under pressure and ambiguity, building an answer if it doesn’t existStrong commercial acumen, alongside a keen awareness of the broader impact of Reward on business performance, HR, tax etc.Robust analytical skills and experience in research and, data manipulation and modelling to derive actionable insightsExcellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)Focus on producing high quality outputs and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills and relationship building both internal and external stakeholdersDesirable: an in-depth technical knowledge of executive remuneration and/or broad-based rewards, including pay benchmarking, bonus and equity incentive plan design and performance monitoring, reward strategy, corporate governance and remuneration reporting, job evaluation and grading, gender pay gap reporting, wellbeing, and recognition etc.Knowledge of how market data surveys work is a plusInterest in mentoring and coaching more junior staffEducated to degree level, ideally in business, human resources, law, accounting, finance or a related field (or equivalent experience)You’ll be able to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
