Job OverviewEnsure all Statutory and Mandatory elements of the contract and relevant standards are achievedLead for all hard service disciplines across siteTo provide dedicated support to the Facilities Management team ensuring the highest standard of services are provided to the Thales client and customersSupport the FM to improve and enhance stakeholder relationshipsProvide FM resilience across the Crawley siteOptimise systems and processes to maximise efficiencies of teams and reduce energy consumption To develop understanding of the contract commercial and deliverable frameworks as part of development Continual management of PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring tasks are completed in line with the agreed SLA and KPIsOperational and line management of the engineering team to ensure best productivityPDA training, development and auditing with on-site teamTo drive & encourage % PDA usageComplete and maintain the training matrix for site engineersLead on developing, supporting and mentoring engineers to maximise their potentialManagement of sub-contractors, ensuring they are booked in and works carried out in line with contractual requirements Role Responsibilities:  Management of additional sub-contractor work to ensure the scope of works is agreed and signed off, and arrange for quotes and works to be undertakenEnsure all Subcontractor RAMS are fully reviewed, recorded and permits are issuedEnsure correct and complaint certification is uploaded, into Maximo, SharePoint and site files as requiredTake a pro-active role in and engaging with clients, developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction is maximisedEnsure all self-delivered and subcontractor activities are managed in line with Mitie’s Safe systems of Work processes and policies, including the issuing of access permits and permits to workAssist the FM in producing monthly reportsSupport the implementation of the One team ethos across all service linesInput and support key projects and initiativesTake ownership of Mitie standards and health and safety across the teamsCarry out monthly reviews, huddles and audits for hard servicesEnhance the service delivery model with cross functional working and team buildingBuild and create a proactive customer focussed delivery model for all hard service contractsAbility to obtain, evaluate and challenge quotations from suppliersLead on energy saving initiatives and constant improvements and provide input to the quarterly energy performance reviewsAttend and represent Mitie in client meetings when requiredReport technical issues to contract Hard Service and Energy Lead and request support when needed Required Qualifications: Experience in M&E industriesExperience in dealing with various mechanical, electrical and specialist systems (liquid nitrogen, oxygen monitoring, compressed air)Experience in working with and managing a team of multi skilled engineersWater management experience desirableMechanical Engineering qualificationStrong customer care focusHealth and Safety awareness and knowledge (IOSH Working Safely)Full and Clean driving LicenceAble to work at heightsSmart in appearanceAble to process administration tasks associated with the roleCommitted, reliable and flexibleAble to work as part of a team and to work on their ownHigh levels of communication skills There’s a place for you at Mitie, join us today!
