What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and optimising Linux (Red Hat) environments across mission‑critical systems
  • Supporting trading, risk, and analytics platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
  • Troubleshooting complex issues across distributed systems and high‑throughput workloads
  • Automating operational processes and improving system observability
  • Collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and application teams to drive best‑in‑class infrastructure practices
  • Contributing to architecture discussions and long‑term platform strategy

What you’ll bring

  • Deep experience with Linux (Red Hat) in enterprise or financial services environments
  • Strong understanding of system performance, networking, storage, and security fundamentals
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues under pressure
  • Experience with automation, scripting, and configuration management
  • A mindset geared towards continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering rigour

Nice to have

  • Python or Bash scripting for automation
  • Exposure to containerisation, orchestration, or cloud technologies
  • Experience supporting trading or low‑latency systems
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability tooling
