Indra, a leading global technology and consulting company, is seeking an ITSM Senior Operational IT Team Leader to support upcoming projects in the UK. The role requires a people manager with technical skills to lead the migration from ServiceNow to BMC Helix ITSM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the due diligence process, analysis, design and transition phases for migration from ServiceNow to BMC Helix ITSM.
  • Lead the analysis, technical and functional design, and future implementation of BMC Helix ITSM, replacing an existing ServiceNow system.
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current ITSM environment based on ServiceNow.
  • Identify and document all relevant processes, configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Map current ITSM workflows to BMC Helix equivalents and identify any gaps or complexities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, support functions, and business stakeholders to extract a full picture of the environment.
  • Assess potential risks, technical challenges, and dependencies involved in the migration.
  • Deliver clear documentation and strategic recommendations to inform decision‑making and planning.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as an IT Systems Integrator delivering highly complex BMC Helix ITSM deployments, preferably within consulting or project-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge in implementation, configuration, customization and development of BMC Helix ITSM based on ARSystem and BMC Helix Innovation Suite.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading technical teams.
  • Strong expertise in BMC Helix ITSM – hands‑on experience with modules such as Smart IT, CMDB, Change Management, Incident/Problem, etc.
  • Knowledge of BMC Helix deployment in On‑Prem/SaaS environments using a container‑based approach.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow – capable of navigating, analysing, and understanding existing configurations and processes.
  • Proven experience in highly complex due diligence, discovery phases, or ITSM migrations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in gathering undocumented knowledge through interviews and workshops.
