We are seeking a technically skilled Design Supervisor/Junior Design Manager (Electrical Bias – Solar) on a permanent basis, with a salary up to £64,000, based in Central London. This role focuses on delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across all stages of photovoltaic (PV) project development. It involves both team leadership and hands-on technical responsibilities.
This role is suitable for someone looking to step up to a Design Manager position with good experience in the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, review, and provide technical sign-off for electrical system designs
- Prepare and approve project Bill of Quantities (BoQ) aligned with design requirements
- Oversee electrical design across all PV development phases
- Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring outputs meet project schedules and quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with international solar projects and clients (preferred)
- Strong leadership, coordination, and technical review skills
