Role The company is seeking a skilled and proactive Application Systems Analyst to support manufacturing and satellite offices based at the Maydown site. This is a hands-on technical role at the heart of operations, focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of the business applications used every day. You will own the full lifecycle of application support, from diagnosing and resolving incidents to proactively monitoring systems, improving processes, and collaborating with product owners on change delivery. Proactively manage application support issues, maintaining the stability, security, and performance of solutions across the environment. Ensure 247 availability of systems through active monitoring of infrastructure and production processes, automation via scripting, and permit-to-operate sign-offs on each application release. Perform daily health checks across applications, scripts, and infrastructure to maintain service quality and catch issues early. Improve and document technical processes around application support, building a stronger and more consistent operational baseline. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical or business discipline. Proven experience using VB6, JAVA, HTML, SQL Server, and SQL. Hands-on experience in an applications production support or application development environment. Working knowledge of ITIL-compliant incident, problem, and change service management. Ability to execute systems analysis. Desirable Requirements Experience with development in contemporary tech stacks, such as AWS Cloud general skills. Familiarity with source control and DevOps practices. Familiarity with SAP, with a focus on the PP/PI module.
