Field Service Engineer – Midlands

Salary: £42,500 Base, £70,000 OTE | Day Shifts | Permanent

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across the Midlands area.

This role is ideal for an electrical engineer with a strong industrial background, particularly within environments such as print, paper, food, plastics, pharmaceutical, injection moulding, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in distribution or recycling is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites across the Midlands area carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on an array of automated machinery.
• Handle overtime on a regular basis as required.
• Document maintenance activities and service records.

Qualifications:

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical).
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance or Service Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally fault finding using inputs and outputs.
• Strong background in electrical engineering.
