Role Summary
To provide a comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral, and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service.
To supervise and support Podiatry support workers, assistants and students.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management for referred patients.
- Ensure onward referral and discharge processes are managed efficiently.
- Supervise and support Podiatry support workers, assistants and students.
Qualifications & Requirements
- PVG Scheme membership/record for the relevant regulatory group; if not currently a member must apply to Disclosure Scotland and be cleared.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements and any changes due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, including possible different level of criminal records check.
- Legal requirement to demonstrate relevant permission to work in the United Kingdom.
