We are seeking a proactive, passionate, and motivated clinical psychologist (Band 7/8A) to join our team in Bury St. Edmunds, providing specialist mental health treatment for young adults. The role supports complex assessment and intervention, clinical leadership, and service development.
Responsibilities
- Undertake complex assessments of young adults and their systems, developing formulations and guiding interventions.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions for a range of mental health presentations.
- Use neuropsychological tests and other psychometrics to inform treatment.
- Offer specialist clinical psychology expertise to the team, fostering psychological mindedness.
- Contribute to risk assessment and management of complex cases.
- Support service development and transformation work as required.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree (or equivalent) in clinical psychology, accredited by BPS.
- Registered with HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
Experience
- Experience as a qualified clinical psychologist (Band 7) demonstrating clinical supervision skills.
- Experience working with complex and challenging behaviours, fully responsible for psychological treatment.
- Experience of supervision and teaching.
- Experience of clinical work in a relevant setting.
Knowledge
- Doctor level knowledge of research design, methodology and complex multivariate data analysis.

Salary: £57,528 to £64,750 gross per annum (pro rata).
