Calibration and Maintenance Electronics Engineer

Position

Electronics Engineer – Calibration & Maintenance team, Stevenage.

Salary & Working Conditions

• Salary approximately £44,000, depending on experience.
• Dynamic hybrid working: 5 days per week on site.
• Security clearance: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship; all successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

Responsibilities

• Service electrical and electronic test equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE).
• Support manufacturing function across all stages of product assembly, integration and test.
• Perform routine calibrations, commissioning, drift analysis, fault finding and repair of test equipment.
• Mentor junior staff when requested by line manager.
• Manage multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.
• Collaborate with support functions and engineers across MBDA.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience and knowledge in calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level.
• Ability to use instructions, handbooks, drawings or specifications to provide technical guidance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
