Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner – Wigan Talking Therapies
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join the Wigan Talking Therapies team on a permanent basis.
As a PWP, you will play a vital role in providing evidence‑based, low‑intensity psychological interventions to people experiencing common mental health difficulties. You will be part of a dynamic integrated Step 2 and 3 team that values collaboration, innovation, and compassion in everything we do.
You will work within Wigan Talking Therapies to deliver evidence‑based, low‑intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions to individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. You will receive close support from the management team and regular guidance from Senior PWPs to ensure high‑quality clinical practice and professional growth.
You will be employed by the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, benefiting from the resources and stability of a large, well‑established organisation while being embedded in a local, integrated network of mental health and wellbeing services across Wigan.
