Job Title: Internal Engagement Officer

Salary: £33,854 per annum (Fixed Term, appointment until 28 May 2027)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Role Overview

The Internal Engagement Officer promotes Forestry England’s work by creating engaging content that showcases how forests are grown and cared for, and how wildlife is protected. The role involves working with different teams to deliver clear messages, share updates with staff and support communication for projects and changes.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and deliver engaging internal content that highlights forests management and wildlife protection.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to develop clear communication messages.
  • Share important updates internally and support communications for project and organisational changes.
  • Build positive relationships across the organisation and communicate effectively.

Working Location & Arrangement

The role is based at Lyndhurst, SO43 7NH and is a fixed‑term appointment until 28/05/2027, with the possibility of extension or permanency.
