Job Description
We are looking for an experienced school leader in Glasgow to support and challenge our schools in advancing our ambitious agenda for Education in Glasgow. The post holder will work as part of the Education Improvement Service, collaborating across a geographical area and focusing on supporting improvement through self‑evaluation for learning. They will also have a city‑wide remit aligned with our key priorities.
This is a challenging post that requires clear professional values, personal commitment, leadership, teamwork and excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
• Significant experience in improving outcomes for children, young people and families.• Proven ability to raise and maintain the highest quality of educational provision.• Leadership and teamwork skills.• Excellent communication skills.• Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) and GTCS registration upon appointment.• Eligible under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Scotland) Order 2013.
