Senior Engineer

Overview

We are supporting a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor in the appointment of a Section Engineer to support the delivery of a major UK tunnelling and wastewater infrastructure project. This role offers the opportunity to work on a complex, high-profile civil engineering programme, coordinating site engineering activities, subcontractors, health & safety, quality, and programme delivery within a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site engineering activities on a major tunnelling and wastewater infrastructure project.
• Manage subcontractors and alignment with health & safety, quality, and programme delivery requirements.
• Ensure engineering best practices and construction methodologies are applied on site.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain schedule and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site coordination, and engineering best practice.
• Strong technical and communication skills to contribute to a nationally significant infrastructure scheme within a collaborative project team.
