Kinetic are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator to join our client on an ongoing temporary basis in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and project delivery across multiple departments.
The Role:You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support, helping to ensure the smooth running of business activities. This position is central to coordinating tasks, supporting projects, and maintaining efficient workflows across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the ordering and distribution of PPE across departmentsManage equipment orders for new starters and replacementsSupport the procurement of IT equipmentOrder office supplies, stationery, and ad hoc itemsArrange travel bookings, including hire cars when requiredOrganise medical appointments for new starters and annual renewalsManage security clearance processesSupport tender submissions and audit preparation by organising project documentationMaintain accurate records, including scanning and filing site documents and test resultsHandle high volumes of emails and maintain organised job-specific foldersRaise requisitions and monitor workflow progressMaintain invoice logs and assist with project-related data entryTake meeting minutes and distribute actionsCoordinate internal and client meetings, ensuring effective communicationPrepare project start-up packs and track updates from stakeholdersProduce variation quotations and customer offers as required
Skills & Experience:Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and document management systemsHigh attention to detail, particularly around compliance requirementsExperience using Salesforce is desirableProactive approach with strong problem-solving skillsA continuous improvement mindsetTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectivelyFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
