Overview
Join Otis as a Service Engineer, responsible for safely maintaining and troubleshooting lifts and escalator units across the site. You will perform routine service checks, react to breakdowns, carry out minor repairs, and provide updates to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating findings to the field manager.
- Act as the face of the business, providing updates to clients regarding work carried out.
- React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide technical solutions.
- Perform minor repairs on lifts and escalator units.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
- Hold a driver’s licence.
- At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
- Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
- Professional with safety as a priority.
- Strong communication skills.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
