Joining a genuinely impressive AI engineering company building advanced systems in Defence, Security and National Resilience.
Engineering team small, highly capable, low bureaucracy. Looking for Senior Software Engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems and want genuine ownership over what they build. Role not narrowly defined.
Engineers contribute across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, deployment, platform engineering, agent frameworks and multimodal data environments. Focus on building robust, scalable systems that operate across cloud, edge and air‑gapped environments.
The culture is heavily AI‑assisted. Engineers actively use tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex to remove low‑value work and move faster, while maintaining high engineering standards.
Core technologies: Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, React, Golang and modern cloud platforms. Adaptability and strong engineering fundamentals valued over perfect stack alignment.
No previous Defence experience required. Strong engineers from startup, product or modern platform engineering backgrounds likely strong fit.
Role requires thoughtful, adaptable engineers comfortable with ambiguity, capable of making sensible technical trade‑offs and motivated by building genuinely meaningful technology.
Hybrid working from Central London office, typically three days per week.
