Location: Birmingham, B3

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Shifts: Days & Nights Available (Flexible)

Contract: Agency / Flexible Shifts

Shift Patterns

• AM: 7:00am – 2:30pm
• Afternoon: 12:00pm – 7:30pm
• Night: 7:00pm – 7:00am

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Support Worker to provide cover within an Ofsted-registered children’s residential home. You will support young people in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Key Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards – essential)
• Experience within children’s residential care
• Strong safeguarding knowledge
• Able to work flexible day and night shifts

Compliance Requirements

• Full employment history required
• Written explanations for any gaps
• References and compliance checks must be completed prior to booking

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people in daily routines
• Promote independence and positive behaviour
• Safeguard and protect at all times
• Maintain accurate records
