Role Description
This is a part-time 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday) on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Belfast. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on the safe and effective use of prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and managing inventory. Daily tasks include providing healthcare advice, contributing to health promotion initiatives, overseeing prescription accuracy, and working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care to the community.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals, prescription management, and patient counseling
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to ensure regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in inventory management and familiarity with pharmacy software systems
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear and compassionate healthcare advice
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and provide patient-focused care
- Registered Pharmacist with appropriate licensing and qualifications
- Experience in community pharmacy or customer-facing healthcare roles is a plus
