Food & Beverage Assistant – Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa

Hand Picked Hotels is a collection of 21 privately owned, luxury country houses and coastal retreats. Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, located in Northamptonshire, offers 4 AA Red Stars, Rosette restaurant, wellness facilities and formal gardens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and preparation styles.
• Provide accurate product descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Collaborate enthusiastically with team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
• Understand basic principles of food and wine matching, grape varieties and predominant flavours.
• Be inspired, enjoy the role, and contribute to a positive team environment.

About You

• Current base knowledge and experience of food and beverage within a quality‑driven hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
• Flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
• High level of emotional intelligence to anticipate guests’ needs and deliver Hand Picked experience.
• Demonstrate ability to deliver guest experience standards, going above and beyond for personalised service.

• Competitive salary £27,040 per year, plus share of service charge.
