Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast‑paced cybersecurity sales team. The role is a key frontline position responsible for generating and qualifying high‑value leads, sparking interest in our products, and setting the stage for successful engagements with IT leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Discover high‑potential leads using tools such as social media, industry events, and databases. Spot untapped markets and shape the sales pipeline.
  • Outreach: Engage prospects via calls, emails, and professional social channels. Present Forcepoint’s solutions and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Qualification: Listen to pain points, ask insightful questions, and determine the right fit for our products.
  • Appointment Setting: Secure high‑quality meetings and demos for account executives.
  • Skills Development: Continuously learn modern sales techniques, evolving buyer behavior, and emerging technologies. Use AI‑powered tools such as Copilot, Gong, and Claude to research accounts and refine messaging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular updates on lead generation activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field.
  • 1–2years of sales or lead generation experience, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales enablement tools.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and proactive in lead generation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Sales Development Representative).
  • Previous experience in a cybersecurity sales role.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.
