The University of Nottingham is seeking applications for a PhD programme focusing on sustainable aviation fuels in partnership with Airbus. The research aims to address challenges in fuel adoption by studying thermophysical behaviour under fuel system conditions.
The successful candidate will engage in computational, analytical, and experimental approaches across mechanical and chemical engineering. The programme includes a tax-free stipend of £24,000 per annum and covers fees for four years, targeted at UK citizens only.
