Overview

Decision Maker – MASH Part Time Contract. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Decision Maker – MASH to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work on Wednesdays from 1:30pm to 5:00pm at a rate of £36 per hour. This is a hybrid role with some home working and some days spent at the Criminal Justice Centre in Northampton.

Responsibilities

• Triage referrals and make MASH enquiries
• Speak to parents and agencies to assess threshold for statutory child protection
• Provide direction to MASH Officers
• Make threshold recommendations
• Work closely with other agencies to ensure effective collaboration and communication

Requirements

• Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in child protection or social care
• Strong understanding of child protection and children’s social care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
• Familiarity with MASH processes and procedures
