This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse locality model, contributing to several specialist services and gaining broad, meaningful experience in family support.

This posts base will be at our Falkirk office, however we operate a locality model and staff may be required to deliver support and services across the Forth Valley area in line with service needs.

About you

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and skilled practitioner who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families.

You will bring:

  • Experience and skills of working with children, young people, and families, particularly those facing adversity or complex needs
  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding
  • Knowledge of the Promise and rights-based practice
  • Skills in building positive, trusting relationships and engaging individuals in meaningful support
  • Experience of group work, one-to-one therapeutic support and family-based interventions
  • The ability to work flexibly across services and adapt to a varied and dynamic role
  • Confidence in multi-agency working and partnership collaboration
  • A commitment to empowering families and amplifying the voices of children and young people
