Job Location

Derry/Londonderry – Woven Old City Court, Ireland.

Working Pattern

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8 am – 6 pm
  • 6 hours per week
  • Flexible hours – 2 hrs x 3 times per week or 3 hrs x 2 times per week

The Role

  • Provide the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with client specifications
  • Respond positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and perform duties in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide a range of general cleaning services, including offices/meeting rooms, toilets/shower areas, laboratories, and amenity areas site-wide
  • Ensure all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
  • Ensure regular checks are carried out on equipment and machines used
  • At the end of your shift, leave all equipment clean and in good working order
  • Familiarise yourself with company procedures and regulations and follow them
  • Participate in the health and safety policy of the company and report any dangers, near‑misses, or hazards to your line manager
  • Present all offices, toilets, and amenity areas in a clean and tidy condition

The Person

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Previous work experience in customer service
  • Current BICS qualifications
  • Basic statutory training: ability to read, write, speak, and listen to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers on a day‑to‑day basis
