Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Fire Door Installer to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This on-site role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include precise measurement, alignment, fitting, and inspections of fire doors, as well as documenting compliance checks. Collaboration with team members and adherence to health and safety guidelines are essential elements of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in fire door installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of building regulations, fire safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Skills in measuring, cutting, and using tools for accurate door fitting
- Experience in reading technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Relevant certification or training in fire door installation and passive fire protection is preferred
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry is an advantage
