• Location: Home to School Depot, John Street, Barnsley

Job Summary

Passenger Assistants are required to provide essential travel assistance for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, ensuring safe journeys between home, school, or college, and transport to adult day care facilities when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe transport for children and adults with special needs.
• Assist with boarding and alighting from vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with staff as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and the Drug & Alcohol Testing Procedure.

Qualifications & Requirements

• English language proficiency to an appropriate standard.
• Enhanced DBS Check.
• Passion for helping others.
• Empathy, patience, and a professional, polite manner.
• Ability to work split shifts and weekends.

Additional Information
