Job Summary
We are offering a permanent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Day Drivers for local haulage and Irish tramping routes, based from Mallusk or Armagh depots.
Schedule
Hours are from 05:00 to 06:30, Monday to Friday, with optional weekend overtime.
Benefits
Benefits include up to £2000 annual bonus, overtime pay (£18/hr), private medical and dental cover after 9 months, and enhanced night/weekend rates.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and load cargo securely.
- Deliver goods punctually, maintain delivery logs, and communicate with the operations team.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
Requirements include at least 1 year of driving experience, knowledge of Irish routes, and a responsible attitude towards vehicle care. ADR license is advantageous.
Compensation and Working Conditions
The role offers a full-time schedule with pay starting from £15 per hour, along with pension, sick pay, and parking benefits.
