Join University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 5 Financial Accounts Assistant and play a pivotal role in supporting vital NHS services. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the Trust’s salary sacrifice schemes, working at the heart of a busy and dynamic finance team. The post holder will manage the day‑to‑day administration, maintain registers, and resolve queries with payroll and external providers.

You will be responsible for reconciling complex control accounts, reviewing monthly invoices and deductions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with spreadsheets and finance systems.

Working within the Financial Accounts team, you will organise your own workload to meet strict reporting deadlines while building strong working relationships across the Trust. Hybrid working is available with a minimum of 3 office days per week at Regent Court, near Five Ways Island in central Birmingham.
