Responsibilities
Drivers perform 1–2 backhaul trips per day to Costco stores, with a possible retrieval from one of the client’s suppliers. The vehicle is security pad‑locked and can only be opened by store staff upon arrival.
Loading assistance is required only at the client’s customers; all other sites load the vehicle themselves.
Average hours are 10–12 per day; minimum 8 hours. Weekday shifts may be longer during busy periods, while weekend shifts can be shorter.
The operation runs 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Shift schedules are posted a week in advance and confirmed daily by text.
Bonus Scheme
Annual driver bonus recognition is paid at Christmas, contingent on meeting the following criteria: minimum 15 shifts per month, zero no‑shows, zero tachograph infringements, zero avoidable accidents or injuries, and compliance with camera monitoring for late response, following time, curb hitting, red light violations, cab smoking, speeding, and seatbelt usage.
Drivers who complete 12 months of service and meet all criteria receive £600 high‑street vouchers in December.
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have no more than 6 points on their licence, and no DR or IN conviction codes.
Must hold a Class 1 Driving Licence, a Driver Qualification Card (CPC), and maintain no more than 6 points on licence.
