We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work at Witham Oaks Academy.
This position is for 15 hours per week. The working pattern is 8:45 am to 12:00 pm Monday‑Friday with a 15‑minute unpaid morning break. Pay is £8,790 per annum (Scale 3 point 6). The role is initially fixed‑term to August 2027 and will be reviewed annually.
Applicants should have experience working with children in a school environment. It is essential that you hold GCSEs (grades A–C) in both Maths and English, or hold equivalent qualifications in this area.
Success in this role requires the following:
- Enthusiasm to work with children with a variety of different personalities and skill levels.
- Ability to engage well with pupils.
- Ability to work under your own initiative.
- Smart presentation and excellent time‑management skills.
