Sales Development Representative (SDR) – London, UK
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential Anaplan clients, delivering a concise message about easier business planning, forecasting, modeling, and budgeting.
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities by following up on marketing‑generated leads, inbound requests, and event attendee inquiries.
- Execute outbound prospecting activities including cold‑calling, email outreach, and other digital prospecting to targeted prospects in our market.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise sales representatives to develop and implement Account‑Based Sales Development strategies, targeting the right decision‑makers with tailored messaging.
- Challenge yourself to meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales metrics, forecasts, meeting and call objectives.
- Perform rigorous due diligence and build strong relationships to drive forward the continued success of the sales function.
Qualifications
- 1‑2 years of Inside Sales/Business Development/Sales Development experience, preferably at an enterprise SaaS/Cloud application company.
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding lead generation, forecasting, and sales objectives.
- Experience calling into Fortune 2000 accounts at CXO level.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets across various roles.
- Any exposure to closing sales, regardless of product or industry.
