HGV Class 1 Driver

Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Eastleigh area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts

Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time).

Hours

• Trunk – Days, afternoons or nights.

Pay Rate

• Trunk – £17.75 per hour PAYE rising to £18.25 per hour from 10pm-6am

Location

Eastleigh, SO53

The role

• Trunking – Performing trunk runs to the Coventry or Ryton hub.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
