Role Overview

Aspire People, a mainstream primary school located in Stockport, Greater Manchester, is seeking a full‑time Primary Class Teacher (KS1/KS2) for a temporary placement with the potential to transition to a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach a full class of children with the support of teaching assistants.
• Plan, prepare and mark lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Support students with additional needs and apply behaviour management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson planning.

Compensation and Benefits

Daily rates are £150–£175, depending on experience. Aspire People provides free Course Delivery Programme (CDP) and safeguarding training, free parking and convenient public‑transport access.

Qualifications

• Valid QTS or QTLS.
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching.
• Experience teaching students with additional needs.
• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Prepared to mark, prepare and plan work.
