Make a Real Difference in a Child’s Life
We are looking for compassionate and resilient individuals to join a new children’s home in Keighley. You will support children aged 6‑11 who have experienced trauma, helping them feel safe, valued, and supported every day. In this role, you are more than a support worker—you are a role model, a mentor, and someone children can rely on during some of the most important moments of their lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children
- Supporting daily routines, including school, activities, and bedtime
- Encouraging hobbies and interests such as sports, gaming, arts, and cooking
- Helping children develop confidence, independence, and emotional resilienceWorking closely with a supportive team and external professionals
- Following individual care and behaviour plans
About the Home
This is a 2-bed children’s home designed to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Our focus is on helping each child move forward positively, with the aim of transitioning into family or foster care when the time is right.
What We’re Looking For

- Flexible to work shifts, including sleep‑ins
Experience in residential childcare is helpful but not essential—we provide full training and support. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) is required.
