Science Teacher

The Role of a Science Teacher (Amersham)
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that encourage students to explore, question, and achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and personal development while creating a positive and structured classroom atmosphere.
Your Responsibilities as a Science Teacher ( Amersham)
- Deliver high-quality and engaging Science lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics where appropriate
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
- Support students’ academic achievement and confidence development
- Assess progress effectively and adapt teaching approaches to maximise outcomes
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote student success
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching style
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A genuine passion for inspiring young people through Science
