CIVILS OPERATIVE
S&B Utilities is currently seeking experienced civils operatives to join our team.
The Civils Operative is responsible for the hands‑on construction, maintenance, and repair of water network infrastructures across our operations both regionally and nationally.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks safely and according to quality standards.
- Follow instructions to complete activities.
- Ensure high‑quality work.
- Assist in timely project delivery.
- Identify efficiencies and innovations.
- Show willingness to undergo industry and specialist training.
Qualifications
- Background in the water industry preferred.
- Certifications: CSCS, EUSR Blue Card, Confined Space, EUSR Deep Excavations desirable; full UK driving licence required.
- Basic IT knowledge.
- Basic health & safety knowledge.
- Soft skills: problem‑solving, team collaboration.
- Personality traits: confident, friendly, adaptable, safety‑conscious, tolerant, punctual, flexible.
