Senior Project Manager (Client‑Side)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team under the guidance of a Project Director to plan, control and deliver activities during pre‑construction, construction, and post‑construction stages.
• Engage with clients, internal and external consultants, and specialist suppliers.
• Run project and design team meetings; prepare reports, minutes, and other documented deliverables.
• Communicate and collaborate with WSP teams across the UK and internationally.
• Progress projects and ensure activities are completed on time.
• Support Project Management commissions to achieve safe, sustainable and efficient outcomes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and other stakeholders to support future business.
• Lead or support business development activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable client‑side project management experience in real estate projects, ideally within a property, construction, or building consultancy.
• Experience with different construction contract forms and procurement routes (advantageous).
• Desire to grow and develop a project management career within an international business.
• Proven project management background in a consultancy environment, working as part of a team and/or leading projects.
• Ability to coordinate and manage teams to consistently deliver projects.
• Passion for construction, innovation, and industry best practice initiatives.
• Working towards membership of a professional institution such as MAPM.
• Hold a relevant degree or similar higher education qualification.
• Strong contractual awareness and ability to manage NEC and/or JCT contracts.
