Role Description
The Domiciliary Care Worker will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This includes helping with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and light household tasks. The role requires the ability to travel to clients’ residences within Littlehampton. This is an on‑site, contract position that offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients by supporting their independence and well‑being.
Qualifications
- Experience with personal care duties including bathing, grooming, and mobility support
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Time management, organizational, and multi‑tasking capabilities
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude towards caregiving
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to individual client needs and schedules
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are an advantage
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required, and access to reliable transportation for travel within Littlehampton is beneficial
- Previous experience in a similar role or in providing care to individuals with specific needs is a plus
