Mobile Service Engineer
Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Technician living in the Stoke area looking for a Mobile Service role? Salary: £40,000 – £45,000. Monday to Friday day shifts.
Role Overview
You will be travelling within a designated area with a fully equipped van, working on a variety of specialised vehicles including cargo and ground support equipment, industrial tractors, tugs/shunters, and possibly at airports, sea ports, main dealers, manufacturing sites, or military installations.
Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance
- Emergency breakdowns
- Pre‑arranged servicing at rural sites
- Engine work and diagnostic investigations
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Requirements
- Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent
- Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification desirable
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence not essential but a plus
Details
Location: Stoke and surrounding areas. Day shift: Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week. Permanent, full‑time position.
