Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Tredegar

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £85 – £95 per day

Responsibilities

The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will work on a 1:1 basis supporting a young boy with Autism / ASD, helping to engage him in classroom activities, providing emotional support and adapting approaches to meet his individual needs.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis within a school setting
• A patient, nurturing and hands‑on approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
