Local Delivery Driver – Up to £39k & Overtime

Overview

You have the opportunity to earn up to £39,000 per annum including allowances. Overtime opportunities are also available.

Role Summary

As a local delivery driver for Booker, you will drive vehicle locally, build relationships with regular customers, and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers’ premises.

The operation runs seven days a week; shift patterns may include weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain customers’ shelves with required products.
• Carry out manual deliveries as required.
• Adhere to scheduled shift patterns, including potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T licence.
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Preferred previous delivery driving experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Minimum age 18 years (applicable if role requires work before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in warehouse/driving activities).
