Term time only and Inset days (39 weeks). This is a fixed‑term position commencing September 2026 and ending July 2028, supporting a student throughout Years 10 and 11.
Hours
27 hours per week, 8:30am to 3:00pm.
Actual starting salary (pro rata)
£16,083, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
Role
We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant – Specific Learning Difficulty to join our friendly and enthusiastic team; to provide 1:1 support in the classroom for a specific student across all subject areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a specific student in the classroom across all subject areas.
- Assist with literacy and social communication support, or undertake training in these areas as required.
- Support the student’s learning and development throughout Years 10 and 11.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within a school environment or with young people.
- Experience of providing literacy and social communication support is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake training in these areas.
