Proactive Global currently has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will help with mechanical installation of extraction systems and installing the inter‑connecting ductwork to customers’ woodworking machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical installation of extraction systems and inter‑connecting ductwork to customers’ woodworking machines
• Servicing existing systems
• Replacing tubular filters in filter systems
• Occasionally working in confined spaces

Main Requirements

• Experience in mechanical installation would be good but not essential – full training will be given
• A good attitude with a positive outlook on learning new skills
• Team‑leader, able to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
