Mechanical Assembler – Redditch

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join a global manufacturing company based in Redditch

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on mechanical, assembly, production or engineering experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a modern manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:15pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 12:00pm

Pay Rate:

• £13.50 per hour

Duties Include:

• Mechanical assembly of components and sub‑assemblies
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Reading and following technical drawings and build instructions
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Carrying out testing procedures using specialist equipment
• Supporting production targets in a fast‑paced environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, fitting or engineering
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Mechanically minded with good practical skills
• Keen to learn and develop new skills
• Able to read technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and quality focused
• Reliable with a positive work ethic
